Dr. Lynn Bowden
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Bowden grew up in North Carolina, where she graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine with honors. She practiced in the Charlotte area until her husband’s career led them to Greenville. The Bowdens have called Greenville home for the last 17 years, where they have raised their two children, Clay and Liza, and have even been converted into Clemson fans! Dr. Bowden enjoys all aspects of small animal practice, but her passion lies in the prevention and treatment of behavior problems in dogs and cats. She is proud to have achieved Low Stress Handling Certification, and hopes to use these skills to create a positive and comfortable hospital experience for both you and your pet. Dr. Bowden and her husband live downtown with their two rescued terriers, Bonnie and Carl, and enjoy cooking, entertaining, travel, and outdoor activities.

Dr. Suzie Powell
Dr. Powell is thrilled to be opening a practice in her hometown of Greenville, SC. Born and raised in the Upstate, she is a proud graduate of J.L. Mann High School and Furman University. She received her veterinary degree from North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001, and immediately moved "home" to practice. Dr. Powell enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, with a particular focus on dentistry and greyhound medicine.
Dr. Powell has been married to her high school sweetheart, Rob, since 1997 and they have two daughters, Morgan and Madelyn. They also share their home with two dogs, Finn (a Great Pyrenees) and Giussepie (an Italian Greyhound), and one cat, Eli. Her family is active at Grace Church and enjoys traveling to the beach and mountains, watching movies, and bike riding.

Dr. Michelle Brauneis
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Michelle Brauneis, originally from the Boston area, found her way to South Carolina for her undergraduate degree at Clemson University. After graduating Clemson, she went on to Auburn University where she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2018. She has been in the Greenville area since graduating Auburn with her husband Caleb, 2 hound mixes, Duke and Demi, and cat Nemo. Dr. Braunis greatly enjoys surgery, OBGYN/Pediatrics for dogs, and client education.
In her free time, Dr. Brauneis enjoys indoor plants, having a summer vegetable garden, and traveling to visit family and friends.

Dr. Shannon HAit
Dr. Hait grew up in upstate New York and began her veterinary career by cleaning the local animal hospital's kennels in high school. She fell in love with South Carolina when she made her way south to attend Clemson University. After graduating from Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, she practiced large and small animal medicine in Lumberton, NC, for two years, and has spent the past 15 years practicing in Greenville. With expertise in all areas of veterinary medicine, Dr. Hait enjoys a new passion of poultry medicine.
In October of 2014, Dr. Hait was voted South Carolina Veterinarian of the Year by the South Carolina Assocation of Veterinarians (SCAV).
Dr. Hait has two children, Pelletier and Sheppard, two dobermans, a toy fox terrier, a gecko, a turtle and 16 chickens. Dr. Hait enjoys attending Clemson football games and running Greenville's trails with her two dobermans, Bebe and Baron.

Dr. Jenna Washburn
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Jenna Washburn was born and raised in North Carolina and knew from a young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian. Her veterinary journey began at Clemson University, where she majored in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. She then obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from NC State University where her focus was in small animal medicine. Although Dr. Washburn enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, she especially loves surgery, feline medicine, and ophthalmology.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Washburn enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching Netflix with her cat Nick. She looks forward to living closer to her alma mater and cheering on the Tigers in Death Valley every fall.
